Best way to create navigation that loads the content (node) using AJAX

I'm in the process of redesigning my site (new design is here: www.corydorning.com) and am going to put it on Drupal. The functionality I'm going for is when someone clicks on one of the links at the bottom (weblog, lifestream, etc.) it loads the content via AJAX below it.

While the Portfolio section would basically be a static page, the weblog section would be a view so this needs to be taken into consideration.

Any ideas for the best way for me to do this via a module?
