the embedded media field breaks my site ! I must delete this module physicaly via ftp !!! ... If I don't do that, I have a white screen of death with my site !

I have
drupal 9
emfield laste 6.x-1.0-beta1
and some another modules like :
flashvideo (I transform video files in flv with ffmpeg on my server)
quicktabs
admin menu
views
...
my js is aggregated too

It's strange, because when the module is desactived, i have already a white screen ! but when I destroy the folder emfield in my modules directory ... the site is ok ... very strange
perhaps a problem with the contrib ? in emfield module ?

when I change the status of this module in system table (impossible for me to access admin pages ... white screens ) I have a warning :
Fatal error: Unsupported operand types in mysite\sites\all\modules\emfield\contrib\emaudio\emaudio.module on line 388

Does this still occur for you? There have been a lot of changes since this was reported. That particular line should work fine.

My problem seems related. I get this message and an otherwise inaccessible site:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function emfield_provider_themes() in /home/virtual/site154/fst/var/www/html/sites/all/modules/emfield/contrib/emaudio/emaudio.module on line 388

I Am on Drupal 6.9 and Emfield 1.18. PHP 5.1.6 Tried 2.x dev first but that gave a white screen of death.
Removing the entire Emfield directory brings the site back. But just uploading the directory back again brings the problem back.

Renaming the EMaudio folder to XEMaudio gives another error: Fatal error: Unsupported operand types in /home/virtual/site154/fst/var/www/html/sites/all/modules/emfield/contrib/emimage/emimage.module on line 402

I have no explanation, but after reinstalling the whole thing the problem disappeared. Emfield works as usual, very good.
