Hello,
I'd like to request a feature to be added to Taxonomy Super Select.
The functionality of this module is wonderful, however the UI can be a little cumbersome when using large vocabularies.
I would like to see a feature which creates two menus - one on the left for 'available taxonomy', and one on the right for 'applied taxonomy'.
Applied Taxonomy would contain current the vocabulary for an article (or other content type), while the Available Vocabulary menu would contain the available vocabulary minus the vocabulary already applied to the article.
Simply clicking on a term in one menu would remove it from that menu and add it to the other.
For example:
Suppose we have an article about apples and bananas. Our vocabulary, fruits, consists of apples, oranges, bananas and pears. Our article currently on falls under the 'apples' vocabulary, and we want to add bananas.
When editing the article, two vocabulary menus would appear.
For example:
Available Vocabulary................... Applied Vocabulary
--------------------------...................------------------------
Oranges...................................... Apples
Bananas
Pears
Clicking on 'Bananas' in the Available Taxonomy menu would cause it to disappear from that menu, and be added to the Applied Taxonomy menu.
Thus, the result would be:
Available Vocabulary......................Applied Vocabulary
--------------------------...................... ------------------------
Oranges........................................Apples
Pears............................................Bananas
I believe that adding this sort of functionality would make this module more aesthetically pleasing and easier to use.
Thanks in advance,
Wayne
