Reset Password Redirect?

Hi.

I have a weird problem with the reset password function in Drupal. My users started complaining it does not work properly so I started to check it out and it really acts weird:

* I get the email normally with the reset link which I click.
* Pressing Log In on the landing page where it explains its a one-time-login does one of these:
a) Redirects back to frontpage without logging me in.
b) Takes me to the user/edit page.
* If I have landed on the user/edit page I then change the password and press submit, at which point it:
a) Redirects me to the frontpage again without changing pass or logging me in.
b) It tries to redirect me to the user page but I get an access denied error.

Now it seems its loosing the sessions during redirects for some reason. I know there is a bug with IIS in CGI mode but I am running Apache with PHP5. The only thing I can think of is that the phpbb module is screwing up some session stuff for password reset, but it usually works perfectly with logging in/logging out and staying logged in.

I am not using any login_destination type of module either.

Any ideas anybody?

Regards,

bimpasha
