Finally begun on this - I've committed the skeleton for full simpletesting, and my immediate priority (besides any open bugs) will be to flesh it out.
Progress continues...
I'm working on the tests for Migrate 2.0 to support the backport to Drupal 6 - see #802232: Backport Migrate 2.0 to Drupal 6.
Downgrading - the major functionality is tested, although there's always room for filling in more details...
Migrate 2 is stable enough now that I don't think we need to be proactive about filling in tests. What's needed going forward is just (hah!) the discipline to add tests for new features and reported bugs as they're resolved.
Automatically closed -- issue fixed for 2 weeks with no activity.
