When using a flexinode content type with attachments enabled in its configuration and 'files' set to private, the attachment shows after clicking on 'Attach' but vanishes when either 'Preview' or 'Submit' is clicked.

On this same site, all other node types are able to upload files and images perfectly, even though 'files' are set to a somewhat restricted 740. Setting this to 777 did not help either.
