I've tried changing the default send method from privatemsg to Mime Mail, and the default Send Interval form Immediately to Hourly, but when I go to my notifications page, these changes aren't reflected (everything has Privatemsg/Immediately as defaults for send method and send interval respectively). I've tried clearing my browser and drupal cache, but that didn't do any good. Any ideas?

Anyone have any ideas regarding this issue? I've tried changing the default Privatemsg message body filter now as well, and that also has had no effect (default continues to be HTML, despite the fact that I've changed it to Messaging Text at /admin/messaging/settings). So it appears that none of the settings at /admin/messaging/settings are doing anything... I'm assuming that nobody else is having this problem?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Once both options are set in the user account, changing the global settings won't affect it.
