I've run into a problem with the FriendsElectric theme in Opera.
Take a look in Opera 8.5+:

Mouse over the Navigation menu and the content area alternates between being normal width and the width of the image on the page depending on where you position the mouse pointer.
On this page:

Each time you mouseover a link, the pictures & text move slightly until they snap back into their original position then repeat the cycle.
Some other pages with images don't have this problem.
Is anyone familiar with this behaviour? Does anyone know a fix?
Thanks in advance.

Yes and no
This is a known problem (http://drupal.org/node/17569). However, when I visit your pages I don't see any abberant behaviour (!), whereas I see it on one of the sites I maintain: http://ronddehallen.nl

Interesting...
I see the problem on my site in WinXP SP2, Opera 8.51 and Opera 9 Technology Preview 1.
I didn't see the problem on your site although I couldn't find a page with an image on it which is what triggers it for me. Can you post a link to a page on your site that displays the behaviour?
Thanks for letting me know though... looks like we have to wait for Opera Software to fix this.

Even weirder
All pages do.
If I manipulate the sidebar (mail etc) to decrease the size of the browser viewport a little I do see the wrapping on your pages, but no longer on mine. When I decrease the size even further (also by a small amount) wrapping upon mouse_over starts again...
It doesn't seem to be a problem with the viewport size perse; perhaps it has something to do with the ratio of a certain element and the viewport... (perhaps the division of viewport/elementwidth needs to result in an whole number??? who knows)
Could you try manipulating the sidebar to check it's not just me?

Yep
Altering the size of the viewport (either by resizing the browser windows or adding the sidebar or panels toolbar) affects whether it happens or not (on your page and mine). I also noticed that an unnecessary horizonal scrollbar often appears aswell.
