Settings page won't save

Hi, I have everything set up correctly as far as I know and the editor is working fine but I wanted to add an exclusion to hide tiny tiny mce on the contact form. When I tried to add the edit-message I got this message:

Failed to Connect

Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at localhost.

Though the site seems valid, the browser was unable to establish a connection.

* Could the site be temporarily unavailable? Try again later.
* Are you unable to browse other sites? Check the computer's network connection.
* Is your computer or network protected by a firewall or proxy? Incorrect settings can interfere with Web browsing.

I tried to check the box which says Show textarea IDs to make sure I had the right one and got the same result.

The only thing the settings page will let me do is reset to default.

Any ideas?

And yes, I have tried other browsers which give the same error.
