I was just reading performancing.com's review of drupal and it says "Blogger, MetaWeblog and MovableType APIs are supported." I'd like to know about how to use the blogger api. Can anyone tell me how to do it--i've never used an api (I don't think), but I'm somewhat familiar with drupal. any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'm also looking for this sort of info
I apologize for bringing up a very old post, but I'm also looking for this information - mainly to pass on to my users - and the info doesn't seem to be in the handbooks.
Is there a sort of "end user guide" for blogging in Drupal using external programs?
What options are available?
What are the suggested blogging tools?
What are the comparitive differences between blogging on-site and using desktop tools?
Not being a blogger myself, these seem to be mysterious things, and the option of desktop tools seems like it will allow bloggers to create a post and then submit it to several sites. Is this accurate?
Thanks for any information you can direct me to.

looking for same answer
i am looking for the same answer and it is one year later. the drupal mandarins of code dont seem to be bothered with such low level questions. i guess we will have to figure out for ourselves. have you? there is a standard, that much I know, something like a blogging clients xml. if you know the right references you could use flickr to update your drupal. or anything else.
on a more general pattern i do happen to notice that on drupal answers to such questions are missing. for the core module developers etc. this is maybe too trivial to be bothered with, but many other people, users, may feel left behind. I am not an expert at all myself and I promise i will write simple how to's when I have time, just how users can use it, not sysadmins or developers, this is one of my next goals to do something about but times are difficult and leisure is scarce.
