in order to have custom thumbs . . .
i ve installed imagefield imageapi imagecache lightbox 2 and i m looking a way to customize my thumbs from the gallery in order to have for example a drop shadow effect when they load ( using custom css or javascript for the drop shadow effect ) . . . something like this basically http://www.dynamicdrive.com/style/csslibrary/item/css-drop-shadows/
i m not an expert in php , mysql , css ,html programming but as far i know i can modify a *.tpl.php (or something like that) file in order to have the custom view that i want.

You may find the jQuery Eye Candy module useful for this.

but this is still in dev progress . . . can i use it on production enviroment . . . or not ? :D . . . i read the comments about stability but still it's in dev.

I would test it on a non production site and see if it meets my needs and appears stable.
