i converted my book pages in wiki pages, so a group can have its own wiki. there will be very many groups in the end and it is likely that they use same titles for wiki pages in different groups. right now, when you try to do that, you dont get offered to create a new page, but are taken to the existing page of another group... thats very bad for what i want to do. if the "handbook" had its group in the url, it would be a unique page again...
is there an easy way to do that?

dwees commentedI think this is unrelated to my project since I don't rely on the title to create the book pages. I suspect some other problem is occurring which I'm not sure how this could happen. Is this node creation choice based on the Liquid filter?
mailme.eva commentedwell, actually it also gives an error message ("A page with this name alredy exists.") when i just try to create a wiki (book-) page with the same name as an existing page in another group from the group menu link.
if anything, it would rather be related to the automatic alias. this would probably happen for any two bookpages, that have the same name...
btw, i use wikitools and pearwiki filter, not liquid
how do you pass the group context for subpages? (not that i have any idea of how things work, am just curious ;-)
do you think i should post this as an issue for pathauto instead?
thanks for your time
Comment #3
mailme.eva commentedok, its NOT pathauto. in fact it has nothing to do with path at all.
i configured pathauto to create an unique path for each group by setting the patternn for the book(wiki-)pages to content/[bookpath-raw]/[title-raw] but it didnt help any. so i tried to disable it and the problem stayed.
the error message says "A page with this NAME alredy exists."
how can i configure this "name"?
dwees commentedI'm going to move this to the Wikitools project and see if they can help you.
mailme.eva commentedsorry, dwees, i moved it back, i want to make sure that when one does not have installed wikitools, duplicate page names in different groups are allowed...
anyone?
dwees commentedUh... the reason why I moved this issue is because there is NO WAY it is related to my module, Book Expand, as that error message is not even present in my module. Book Expand does not care in the least what the title is for your books, it uses other factors to determine what the drop down list is, and does not, in any way, hinder node submission.
This suggests to me that this issue is with another module. If you insist that it is with my module, that is fine, but you won't receive any support from me, as I cannot possibly fix a mistake with another module. I was trying to move the issue to an appropriate project. Have you confirmed that this problem is an issue when only OG, Book, and Book Expand are enabled?

mailme.eva commentedok, dwees, sorry, you were right. it comes from wikitools. there is even a way to configure it that page names dont have to be unique...
dwees commentedAah excellent, I'm glad to hear you got it resolved.
