Is it possible to move content from 1 type to another?

Hello Drupal Community,

I am a new member here! I've been using Drupal since last Nov to build a commercial website for Marlin Crawler, Inc. Check it out here (if curious): http://www.marlincrawler.com

What I have going on is I am *finally* reworking our tech support section. Originally I had created a Content Type of "Tech Article" which would arrange each new tech article into a teaser along with a pre-configured View.

Now I have a much better method of handling this where I have multiple View blocks being displayed on 1 page, and have created content types such as...

Tech > Installation Guides
Tech > Product Information
Tech > Transmission
Tech > Transfer Case
Tech > Suspension
Tech > Axles

So that now when we create a new content, we have a list of these more "specific" content type which is far better organized than just "Tech Article"

Now I already have a bunch of content already assigned to the type "Tech Article" that I would like to reassign to the more specific content types mentioned above. I have individual counters for each content so I don't want to just delete them and start all over...

My Question: It would be nice at admin/content/node if I could checkmark certain content and then reassigning them to a new "Type". A more general example would be, is it possible to reassign a Page as a Story?

Thanks in advance!
BigMike
