I love the functionality provided by the module, but I would like to allow users to subscribe and unscribe from mailing lists without requiring them to have a Drupal account first. If I give the access and subscribe permissions to the anonymous user and try and access the user_mailman_register page, I get access denied.

Are subscriptions for anonymous users supported; if not, is this a planned feature for the future?

It's not supported but it's a planned feature.
