I have called a gallery album from the menu with this
http://www.mcarch.net/v/portfolio+03
The gallery appears but it seems the primary links menu bar above the banner/header disappears.
Options out of gallery are to select the Title back to home or use the back button on the browser.
Is there a simple answer to this mystery?

ebuck commentedThe primary menu just below the header disappears for me completely when I use 3.2. I have a custom header image but that's it. Not sure if it's related but when I try to select a different header image from the available list in the theme configuration options, it doesn't show me any although they are all sitting in the headers directory. My browser is Iceweasel (Firefox) 3.06.
I've reverted back to 2.5 since it seems to work the best for me. Is there anything that needs to be done to upgrade properly from 2.5 to the 3.x series? Some notes on updating/upgrading would be very helpful.
Thanks!
Ed

selecting the graphics or drawings menu at the top takes you into gallery album and the menus disappear.

Anonymous (not verified) commentedI'll look at this during the week after I get back from DrupalCon.
Are you using the Image Gallery module to generate your galleries or something else?

ebuck commentedI had changed some of the issue values with my previous message unintentionally. I'm reverting so as to avoid confusion regarding the original poster's details.

tazdevl commentedafter further exploration it appears to not just be the nitobe theme....for what it's worth.
the primary link menu disappears when calling a gallery album in other themes as well.
Regardless, I would like to find a solution to display the gallery album thumbnails while retaining the menu links for further navigation.

Anonymous (not verified) commentedThere are several issues about this in the issue queue for the Gallery module with some suggested workarounds. I don't use Gallery, so I can't verify them.
I'm closing this issue since it's a problem with the Gallery module itself.
