This is a long-shot, as I don't think it's possible to do...

Background

I'm in a country where IE has about 98% penetration rate. I've used the internet from a number of different computers and at least 50% of them already have a 'roll over this word to read a translation' facility that obscures the ClueTip rollover for glossary terms.

Request
Is it possible to detect if a user has translation functionality already built into their browser and to disable the glossary functionality if this is so?

This is probably more appropriately posted in the Cluetip issue queue, only this list seems to get more attention.

I don't think it's really appropriate for an individual module to act in this way. This really sounds more like a core translation issue.
