I am trying to add a custom logo to the Dreamy theme - www.contact.ie.

I have unchecked the "Use Default Logo" box.
I have used the "Upload Custom Logo" feature.
I have tried "Path to Custom Logo".

All have failed.
Here is the logo I wish to use: http://www.contact.ie/sites/default/files/garland_logo.png

Hi,

May I know have you configure for both general and theme setting? As I can see you're not using default theme garland, so you might enabled more than one themes. I think you'll have to configure both general or all themes that you've enabled.

Actually you just have to uncheck the "Use default logo" checkbox, and use the browse button to search image file and upload. That's it! Can you try again and see?

HI Kailoon,

Thanks for gettiing back to me. I am able to change the logo in Garland and some other themes.

I am not able to change it for Dreamy.

In "Global Settings" I have "Logo" checked and "Site Name" unchecked. In "Dreamy" I have the same, but when I type in the URL for the logo it does not show a logo. Perhaps Dreamy does not allow people to upload a logo without adding in php to page.tpl.php. If so, I don't know what php to add in.

I have also tried to "Upload Logo Image" but this has not helped me either.

If you've any other suggestions, I'd really appreciate it.

Mark C.

Hi,

Mm..it seems that Dreamy doesn't support custom logo. As you can check out the top region only allow spaces for site name and slogan underneath the site name, but there doesn't seems any available space left for logo.

You indeed, can modify the script, as it's open source. But for my humble opinion, you'll have to tweak the CSS instead of page.tpl.php. As page.tpl.php only check if(isset($logo))<?print ...?>, just example.

Maybe you can try post issue under Dreamy project page?

I went to the Dreamy Issues and someone has created a new background image for it (one with out the tree), so I used that to create a new logo for myself. It's not perfect, as the logo does not link back to the homepage, but it's a start.

Thanks again,
