Same problem here, since weeks.
Your reference is about APC Sparky, but it doesn't really explain.
Please download the performance script below, to check on your APC installation. Be sure monitor performance: too little RAM available for APC will hurt your site performance!
So there is this code:
vextension=apc.so
apc.shm_size=128
apc.enabled=1
apc.shm_segments=1
apc.ttl=7200
apc.user_ttl=7200
apc.apc.stat = 0
apc.include_once_override = 1
So I copy it.... (I suppose that what is meant with "downloading" it)
Yes.... AND????
The "ABC" reference talks about " This seems to be working for me right now".... then you find " Drupal does a pretty good job of saturating that, so further testing is necessary. "
So then you stop reading
Installing PHP on Ubuntu says:
"The instructions below assumes that you have full control of your server, whether a physical dedicated server or a virtual private server."
I haven't even control over Drupal so I stop reading again.
Why does Drupal alert about this problem, but then doesn't include a simple link to a solution or explanation (too common in Drupal)?? It doesn't seem to be such an exceptional problem...
I started with Drupal in 2007 and then my life got stuck...
