Code and documentation sprints today

Following the final day of DrupalCon presentations, we're hosting a code and documentation sprint, both at the DrupalCon conference facility and online. You can help! Documentation sprinters are coordinating tasks on wiki-style pages and talking on IRC at #drupal-docs (see instructions for joining).

Comments

Database Sprinting is at #drupal-database today as well.

CVS instructions

Today, I developed and deployed a CVS instructions module, which adds a tab to every contributed module and theme.

Example for Views: http://drupal.org/node/38878/cvs-instructions/DRUPAL-5

Awesome

David, speaking as a guy who has to Google for CVS cheat sheets EVERY time I muck around with CVS ... that's an awesome improvement. Thanks.

project solr fixes

Aside from tons of context switching, trying to delegate tasks to volunteers, helping other people, a security team meeting, and a nice meeting with a few of the other d.o upgrade/redesign team members and Mark Boulton to discuss the d.o redesign, I mostly worked on project + solr integration for the project browsing pages:

#378830: Have core version facet impact the active/available sorts
#394352: When a text keyword is present, sort by relevancy by default
#377456: Add a "recent activity" sort next to the existing "latest (official) release" sort
#394386: Add code to mark project nodes to be reindexed to solr at the right times
#394342: Port to the "sort_title" Solr schema

The next step for this stuff is here:
#377736-3: Module filter or sort by release should impact what information is displayed

p.s. Oh yeah, I also reviewed David's cvs-instructions tab on project nodes to provide feedback before he deployed it. Cool stuff. Thanks, David! ;)
