Hi People,
Apologies if this is the wrong place to post this.
By default, when you view the list of forum posts in any particular forum, you see under the 'Created' column the format is listed as "3weeks 2 days ago" or something to that effect.
I would like to change this to read the date and time it was posted. When a post has been there awhile, having a length of time that could be months ago really is fairly useless without counting back on a calendar or drilling down into each post.
Afte much searching, it appears that forum-submitted.tpl.php controls part of this function. Is there anyway to convert these 'ago' dates to calendar dates?
Thank you.
Steve

michelleYou can change this using the preprocess system. Advanced Forum has code in it to change posts older than 48 (configurable) hours to an actual date if you'd like to see an example of how to do this.

quietone commentedForum is approved for removal. See #1898812: [policy] Deprecate forum module for removal in Drupal 11
This is now Postponed. The status is set according to two policies. The Remove a core extension and move it to a contributed project and the Extensions approved for removal policies.
It will be moved to the contributed extension once the Drupal 11 branch is open.
