Currently in the CivicSpace theme the text it shows for events are cryptic and confusing.
The theme should show
* Medium format date instead of short format date
* Show time zones as readable text or don't show them at all

Zack Rosen commentedAlso - there should be consistancy in formatting between 'Start', 'Timezone', and 'Location'. Aditionally, the text 'Body:' should be removed completely. Other nodes don't show this.

Amazon commentedPlease test on other themes to confirm this is not a CS problem.
traemccombs commentedYou need to circle the areas you want me to see on your screenshot. The screenshot you posted as "ugly" seems quite fine to me. Isn't date formatting something people pick in admin/settings??? I didn't know that was part of the theme. If it is, it's probably some PHP foo and I'll need someone to help me change it. So please either include a patch (against the proper THEME BASE! -- http://demo.civicspacelabs.org/home/files/cs1-snap-NOV302005-0349PM.tar.gz ) or catch me on IRC and help me fix this.
Thanks tons,
Trae

Zack Rosen commentedAmazon: This is really a problem w/ the default themable functions of the event module. The CivicSpace theme can over ride them though
