Suggestion: Drupal Group for mail module developers

I understand it's open source and everyone has their own ideas about how something should be done. However, since the mail modules always have a dependency on another module, it makes sense that they would form a Drupal Developers Group to keep their modules in synch and working together.

Your Issues list would decrease saving you time and the end users would be loyal, staying with your specific set of modules when upgrades didn't produce gobbledy gook error messages. As a user, the longer you use a module the more familiar you become with how it works and the easier it is to test patches and help the Developer.
