Copy permissions from previous workflow

My workflow is 10+ stages and it can be pretty tedious setting up the field permissions. My 1st thought was the ability to copy any other state's permissions.

Thanks for your suggestion. I'm currently working on a new release of Workflow Fields and I'll take this feature request into consideration.

As an interim solution, would you think that automatically copying the permissions off the previous state is a good idea?

Perhaps have an option to copy the previous state on the bottom were you already have the bulk operations would be best instead of an automagically thing.

I tried my best to avoid implementing this feature which will require using AJAX and such. Instead, I re-arranged and enhanced the bulk selection feature. Please take a look at the latest dev release and let me know if this can fly at all :-)
