davedelong commentedYes, it's my plan to allow for exactly that. I'll need to do more research into how OG plays in with the node system, but that is high up on my list of features to put in.

Rosamunda commentedThanks Dave!!!
Rosamunda commentedSorry for activating this again, but... is there any aprox. date of the release of this feature?
No pressure, but... just wanted to know ;)
Thanks!

go7 commentedWould it be possible to adapt your module to limit the amount of users that can be setup for a specific organic group?
Rosamunda commented+1 to that indeed!!!
This module already merge two features: limiting per role and the possibility to override that limit for an specific user. So far I can tell that if this two features (content and user limits by Organic Group) are added, this will be "THE" limiting module.
davedelong commentedIt's possible. One of the things I'm struggling with right now is how to structure the module correctly to allow for expansions like this. My original intent was to only limit the number of nodes that can be created, but if I can come up with a decent enough architecture, and a way to correctly interpret the contexts of the limitations, then limiting users could be possible as well. I'll keep it on the back burner for now. Right now my priority is to get it built properly. The current -dev version is kind of hacked together. =)

Rosamunda commentedThanks for your effort Dave.
I´m really looking forward to this module, because I think it will be the ultimate solution standard for limiting node creation, because other modules of the same type ar all incomplete.
Thanks again,
Rosamunda

davedelong commentedI've opened a new thread to discuss the proper schema. I've whipped up an ER diagram describing what I think is a proper schema, but I'd like to get some feedback and comments on it. The issue is here: #412394: Node Limit schema discussion

duaelfrThis is quite complicated so I will try to finish it when the core node_limit will be functional and ported to D7

bartezz commentedBonsoir Edouard,
How are you going on this, sounds like a very usefull feature. If you need testers just shout!
Cheers
Comment #13
duaelfrI would like to work on this but OG has become very complicated and I have not much time to spend here.
It is in my roadmap for the 7.x version but I cannot engage for a release date for the moment.

bartezz commentedHey Edouard,
Thanx for the reply. I'll be more patient then :) As I said, if you need testers let me know!
Cheers
Comment #15
duaelfrThis feature is no longer planned for node_limit 1.0
I am sorry but OG integration is really too complicated for the moment.
