Issue Summary
I have installed and configured the newest dev release of search files (2.x). Is there a way to test this module? I need to check whether or not it's successfully using the helpers and successfully looking for and parsing the attachments on my site. I suppose I could just wait for 24 hours and do random searches on files, but that seems very indirect... Any advice from those of you who are users of this module?

I also see that under "search" in my drupal site, I now have both "Attachments" and "Server Files" as options to search under. How can I eliminate one of those, and which one should be eliminated?

Please look at >= Beta3, the module has undergone major overhaul since your report.
It is now possible to enable/disable search_files_attachments and search_files_directories individually.
