Description

Howdy, testing things further i noticed that the 'Send message' tab appears to anonymous/unlogged users. Clicking it gives back the following:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function rsvp_funtion_load_node() in /home/public_html/sites/all/modules/rsvp/rsvp.module on line 2665

Sorry, but I need more info.

Does the invitation has the "view Invitation" setting enabled? Otherwise an anonymous user can not see the invitation. Or has the anonymous user used his rvp/email/XYZ link to see the invitation?

Thanks,
Ulf

testing further actually the fatal error shows also to authenticated users, both when viewing the invitation directly, or when clicking on the rvp/email/XYZ link..

these are my settings:

. Open invitation: yes
. Invitation message - view permissions: authenticated users
. Show guest list inside event/node
. Guest list view permsssion: anon, auth
. Send messages: invitees
. Invite other guests: invitees
. Answer maybe disabled
. Display reply box inside event/node: show

(switched issue against dev version, as that's the one installed now)

in case i can provide you a link to our testbed. Thanks!

Just drop me an email.

After reading twice, I found the problem. Was a typo.

Will be fixed with next dev version.

Thanks,
Ulf

Ulf, now the Fatal error has gone, but invited users are still able to send messages to others with the "Send message" tab in the invitation page (/rsvp/email/bb88e1a4488945bcd623a6e3b88712f5) even if i've setted "Send messages: no" in the Guest options settings.

shall i reopen this or create a new issue? thx

PS: i'm running latest dev version as of today

also, setting "Send messages: invitees", invitees cannot see the small envelope icon to send a message to guests. Is that supposed to be this way? thx

But now comes the catch where I think is the problem:
Regular guests (logged in or anonymous) who are not moderators should never see any icon nor the timestamps. All the icons and the timestamps afvter the guests in the guestlist will only be displayed to moderators and organizer.
If you are logged in as organizer/moderator and then open another guests invitation by its link (/rsvp/email/bb88e1a4488945bcd623a6e3b88712f5) you will see a "special guest list" including the icons.

If that is not your situation, could you give me access to the system?

Thanks,
Ulf

Aha, ok for #6 above. Still cannot get #5... "Send messages: no" in the Guest options settings shouldn't prevent guests from bulk messaging other guests? If it should, then id does not seem to work..thank you for your patience!

Hi,

could you give me access to your system? I'd like to take a look. In theory that should not happen.

Thanks for letting me access your system.

The reason why you see the "Send message" and the "Add guests" tab is because your settings for this invitation are setup that way.

Under "Guest Options" you specified that Invitees can send messages to other guests and Invitees can invite other people. When you change the two settings to "No"
the two tabs disappear.

Thanks,
Ulf

yep, didn't got this could be set distinctly for each invitation: is not enough to just turn "Send messages: off" from main settings page. Thanks for clarifying this!
