I've set up a webform and have a link in my navigation to it, but I only want people that achieve the role 'Customer' to see it and hide it from guests to the site. where is the option to hide it

I can't seem to find anything in permissions to help me.

I have made it so they can't actually send the webform unless they have purchased a product but - I just want to hide the link.

You need to install a node access module to prevent access to the node entirely. Try Content Access or Taxonomy Access.
