Have open calais working perfectly in two sites. Am just not able to make it work in a new site. Have version 6X3.0 Have RDF version 6.x-1.0-alpha6 and have the arc2 library installed under vendor under rdf. Please tell me where I am going wrong!!

Where are you seeing the error?

Do you see the ARC2 library recognized if you go to "admin/reports/status"?

The Calais terms are getting selected but am getting the following warning.

user warning: Unknown column 'tdid' in 'field list' query: UPDATE calais_term SET name = 'high-tech', vid = 13, tdid = 24, guid = 'http://d.opencalais.com/genericHasher-1/0ea5fb1e-d98b-3798-9674-48250abc...' Was this an upgrade? If so you need to run update.php. tdid is a new field added to the table in release 3.0.

:-( Sorry to be reopening this. Have done no changes and all of a sudden Calais is just not working in my site. Am able to input my own terms in the calais fields, but auto calais is off! I just dont know understand why. Created a new content type and switched on Calais for that in the hope that a new one will work. No warning messages, just doesnt work thats all!!

Is there anyway you can help. What more information will you require. Sorry for the trouble.

When you say "doesn't work" do you mean that no tags are associated with your node? For that content type, try setting the relevance threshold to 0. Also, can you paste the content that you are expecting to get tagged?

Dear Febbraro,

Thank you so much for your prompt response. Seems like Calais itself was having problems while I was doing my checking cos it did not pull up tags in any of my sites and now th problem has rectified itself. SO am fine now. The next time I shall wait before i press the panic button! Thank you so much again.

Glad to hear it is all fine again. There were some problems with the service last week for a stretch of a few hours or so and that could have been at the same time.
