This is just a debate I have been having with a client for some time. They are tragically lost in time, and have an older browser, and they use various toolbars, all on the same darn browser, and they wonder why their user experience is low with all this - junk - added in.

I personally have no need for a toolbar, but the questions just keeps popping up in strange ways. Is there ever a need for a tool bar, other than when using IE6 perhaps? I'm just out of touch with the whole toolbar thing.

well i have used before just a torrent toolbar but not any more.
others are useless

Worse than useless... the clutter inhibits usability. And the audacity of vendors to install these automatically... preying on ignorance... appalling.
