Description

Hi,
I've been using Widgeditor 6.x for some time now, and love it. I do, however, have a minor issue to report. I didn't see this listed in any previous issues, so I'll apologize in advance if you've addressed it previously.

In IE7, Widgeditor doesn't always appear when it should. For instance, I've set WidgEditor to be enabled by default on edit-body and edit-comment fields. I've also set permissions for all authenticated users to use WidgEditor. If I click "edit" on an existing node, the editor may or may not appear. If it doesn't show up, I can refresh (sometimes twice) and it appears. I don't see any difference in the page source (making this all-the-more frustrating), and I can't reproduce this behavior in FF.

I can appreciate that it works properly in a standards-compliant browser, but 85% of my users are still on IE. I would really appreciate any thoughts as to how this can be resolved.

Subscribing.

I have encountered the same behavior in IE8 as well. Firefox seems to be fine. Corfiming the html output is similar in both instances (other than some input id's, obviously). widgeditor.css&.js are both called and loaded...strange indeed.

Drupal 6.8, no other WYSIWYG editors installed.

//edit

Very nice, problem is solved in http://drupal.org/node/150653 , just disable a call in the js and add that call to the .module.

Great :)
