I have to choose a open source software to work with a group of people.
At the beginning, I was only looking for some kind of Microsoft Project online package.
Then I discovered Drupal.
WOW!
It as some many great modules and community.
But I still need some Gantt Chart stuff.
Am I right to think that Drupal does not currently have a module "a la
Microsoft Project" ?
Merci !

Yes you're right.
The project module is build to serve the purpose of the software development here on drupal.org
It is cool, but it does not serve the same purpose as MS-project.

One option for this type of issue is the project management module.
It is built in Drupal 7, and whilst the Gantt chart functionality has not yet been ported from Drupal 6, it is on the list to be done soon.
You are correct
Drupal does not contain anything that comes close to Microsoft Project. The current project module (when it works) is really just an issue tracking system for software development. But it doesn't do task management at all. There is no calendaring or charting either.
Probably your best opensource options for project management are:
dotproject - http://www.dotproject.net/
PHProjekt - http://www.phprojekt.com/
more.Groupware - http://mgw.k-fish.de/
phpCollab - http://www.php-collab.org/blog/
Tutos - http://www.tutos.org/homepage/index.html
You could always try to integrate one of these with drupal (shared database or something).
Good luck to you.

integration of project management software
Many tanks to you and Gunnar.
I will ask my specialist, my young nefew Charlot, if he can tackle that.
Do you think there is an interest in the Grupal community for that kind of solution ?
