Hi all,

Probably a simple question.

I have a search block in my left sidebar - Doing a search here results in the search results being returned in the main body of the page - fine.

However, there is now a second search box (including the advanced link) in the header. I want to get rid of this.

I've searched through the forums with no luck - my theme has the search unticked - makes no difference.

Any help much appreciated.

You can disable it by assigning proper permissions, go to admin/user/permissions and look for search module and disable use advanced search, lemme know how it goes.

Hi,
Thanks for that - removes the advanced search part but not the second search block.

Ideally - I want this gone completely - with just the left search block displayed.

Also - I would like advanced search available within the main content node.
