But V2 in d6 has this covered, you can easily put term name so its transfered as ID but in addressbar you have term name, not number so i would say this looks obsolete for d6.

I think this comment on the project page is why:

WHY NOT JUST USE view-name/term-name?
I kept running into duplicate terms when not using the full path. I also found that people were turned off by some of the special characters that showed up in the browser bar.
