I just had a look through all the available modules and couldnt find any that did this easliy(i could have missed it, but i did look through them all)

Was just wondering if there was a module about that let you easily link to the desired attached content.

For example you attach an image called image23.jpg, and you wanted to link to it in your post if you could just add say [link:image23.jpg]. I know this is kind of lazy but it just makes it easier then adding the whole HTML. I know inline sort of does this, but if the attachment is an image, it always displays it, even if you use [inline:xx=Bla]

Sorry to add another comment, i also noticed Urlfilter is close, but still not exactly it.

You can use inline module with [file:image23.jpg] or [attachment:image23.jpg] instead of [inline:image23.jpg].
It'll display a basic link to your image file.

I have tried this, but it checks for jpg then displays it. Even if you use the file arg. Il try attachment:xx but i think its the same.

Yea just tried it then to be sure. If you use [attachment:1] or [file:1] it still places the full picture in the post because its a jpg :(
