READY TO PAY TO GET A FINAL WORKING VERSION OF DRIGG AND EVB VOTING BUTTON ?
Hi,
Am I the only one to think that it takes too long time to get a a final version of Drigg 6 + EVB voting button ?
I wonder if it could help if everybody would pay a little to finish this project faster?
And how much do we need to collect ?
Sorry to ask, but I'm not sure if in 2025 digg-like websites will remain fashionable or not, so better get a working Drigg faster...
Thanks for reply!

munikho commentedWell, might be willing to donate, but a question, who would we pay?
vm commentedwhy wouldn't you?
If it helps get more developers on board or allows the developer to devote more time toward the module? Projects one is being paid for always get a higher priority. Open Source means the code is open not that any one coders time is free.

munikho commentedSorry, maybe i didn't explain myself well.
I didn't mean that i wasn't willing to donate, was simply asking the question who we would donate to. Since it seems that merc is not very active here anymore and no new developer has presented him/herself yet for the task.
Maybe i should ask: would there be a developer interested in working on this module for money?

wwwoliondorcom commentedIt was perfectly clear, and I guess that if we start a bounty we will find someone to pay ?
Let's see if some others are ready to contribute.
jr50 commentedwhat needs to be finished?
vm commentedI'd originally read that as "why would we pay" not "who would we pay" My apologies. The first person I would contact is the developer him/herself through their contact form.

teliot commentedI would also pay for a final version of Drigg 6!

wwwoliondorcom commentedHi,
Should we try to start listing here all the things that should be repaired, as for example Trackbacks?
Trackbacks have never been working for me, what about you ?
Thanks.

drupallogic commentedI would also consider donating.
If a stable Drigg 6.x-1.0 doesn't come out soon, Pligg might be the winner of the game!

wwwoliondorcom commentedHi,
Can you also explain what do you think Drigg needs to become the perfect digg-like ?
Thanks.
