Hi,

Most of our programs are syndicated, and have their own websites to which we link. But schedule module requires a "program" node for each individual show, which means the schedule page and the Current Program block send users to an intermediate page rather than the actual show page.

What would be perfect would be to have an option on the program nodes to make each page a redirect to the URL in the show's Homepage field, so that when users click on those program titles they're automatically sent to the show pages rather than the Schedule module's program nodes.

Schedule module is plenty useful as is, but this would make it perfect for us. Thanks!

i guess if you're not using the playlists or posting any info on the program nodes then it might make sense to do that... since it's not a common case in most sites i've seen i won't be adding the feature to the module but you could probably achieve the same goal by overriding the now playing block's theme function and the schedule item's theme function.

The way to do this is to install Path Redirect module and set those program nodes to redirect to the external URL's.
