Can I use it somehow with Calendar module?
To replace standard Calendar block with this one, but linked to specified dates from Calendar module?

I too am wondering about this...

perhaps a short description of the differences of the traditional calendar block and this one would help people?

I am also looking forward to some explanation on how to use Calender Block as a replacement for the standard Calendar block.

Please give us some information how to replace the standard calendar block with the very good looking layout from calendar_block module.

I know nothing about the regular calendar module. However calendar_block has a powerfull hook function which enables other modules to interact with the display of this module. I should definately talk to the maintainer of calendar about this, but time's not on my side. Any help would be largely appreciated.

I remember reading a post discussing in detail how to tap into that hook func for the calendar block, but cannot find it now. could you or anyone let me know where it is or similar posts? thanks ! Huj

Is there any other way in which the Calendar Block can currently support events, or is it for time-keeping only?

Google Calendar integration might also be interesting...

I am wondering if the block can just highlight the days that the calendar has events.

Then having the days automatically click onto the calendar page or to the event.

Currently the calendar block module only provides hooks for other modules to do their own integration. There is also only one block provided, which probably isn't flexible enough for integration with other modules. It's hard to share this block.

I recently submitted a patch to create more blocks that, if committed, could offer better integration potential. #667496: Support for multiple blocks

If integration with calendar.module is to be added, it should be a secondary module in a new release. I am hoping to dedicate some time to maintaining Calendar Block, so I will take this into consideration.

Marking as postponed, with consideration for next release.
