I've learned how to make Views OK, pretty neat stuff.

I've figured out how to edit the Filter, Sort criteria, Filters, etc., but I can't figure out how to change the Path.

When you finish your View, you click "Add Display", and then you can tell it your Page Path, and that works all fine. But let's say I set my path to "something" and then later I want to change it to "somethingelse".

How do you do that?

In the page display there will be a 'path' option in the page settings box toward the bottom of the page.

Duh....

OK - sorry - I never clicked the word "Page" below "Defaults"... it didn't look like a link to me so I never tried. I see the light now.

Thanks!

I have been looking everywhere in Views. I am using Drupal 6 and there is no path setting from what I can see. I see View settings, People settings, Relationships, Arguments...ect.. Can someone give some directions on how to update the path the view is associated with?

Have you added the view as a page? Block views don't have a path setting. If you've added the view as a page, and you have the page view open for editing (NOT defaults), the path setting is in the first column at the bottom - just click on it and scroll down.

Thanks for that. I interpreted a little different. So for views, how do you save them? I added a page with a path, created the file, and rescaned. When I hit that URL, it says page not found. I am not sure if this is because I need to 'save' the view, but when I click save, its like the button is not active. Any ideas? I am sure I am missing something here. I have watched a few video tutorials but I am not seeing what I am missing.
