OK, another super newbie question .. doh!

I think I figured out attributes and stock for the most part, but here is my issue:

ie: shirts, come in SIZES and COLORS. When I go to add stock (under product EDIT > STOCK) there are only 2 boxes: "Stock" and "Threshold" .. if I say 10, for example, it has no idea of color or size...

I figure its simple, I am just a bit lost on what is missing.

Basically, you set different SKUs to each of the combination of attributes & options. Each SKU gets a stock filter.

That sounds great, but anything for Drupal 7 as I am experiencing wonky ajax functionality on stock check with two attributes. In the interim I have disabled javascript.
