Hi. Im looking into the posibilities of setting up a cycling tracksharing site where users can compete on best time, lowest average %hr max etc. on the gps tracks. Like highscore lists on the gps tracks they share...
In other words a online cycling cometition site where the users make the competitions (uploads a gps track). Then users submit "scores" to the competitions (%hr max, time data).
Garmin Edge 705 is the device primaly used. I see that Garmin has a nice plugin? http://www8.garmin.com/products/communicator/
I ses that trackfield is close to make this possible? :)

raintonr commentedYes, it is close to being able to do this. In theory you can already plot HR, etc. and have a site almost as functional as MotionBased.
Side issue: I am thinking about adding a 'MotionBased Import' module whereby activities users post are brought over from MotionBased and posted as nodes on a Drupal site. This way one can have a training diary with more blog like features and other fields. Plus, users without GPS will be able to keep a diary too as they can manually enter TrackStat data.
Anyhow - with some coding for a custom module to implement 'scores' based on track data created think your idea would fly.
