I have built a development site, letting pathauto designate url aliases according to its default settings. I knew that before it went live I'd have to change at least the urls with external inbound links. I presumed (ha,ha) that when I changed the alias for a page, the change would ripple through the system and all my links would remain linked. Apparently not - I have changed the first one and none of the links to it from within the site work any more.

E.g. I changed content/team to teampages.htm - every link from within the system is still to content/team and is therefore broken.

There are hundreds of links that I will now have to edit by hand.

Unless there is a better way.

Any hints that will save me a lost weekend editing by hand will be much appreciated.
