I have an interesting problem, when I intsall the module and then go to admin/content/types, there is no Access Control tab. In fact the only real difference I see between before and after install is the permissions list needs to be rebuilt. There is no type of Access Control on the individual node page either.
Any ideas what went wrong?

frank0051 commentedNever mind, I turned off the pop-up module for admin pages and it showed up.

sckat commentedI couldn't see the "Access Control" tab at first either, but note that it is visible once you click on either "manage fields" or "edit" under operations. So to get to the access control tab the order is: Admin/Content Management/Content Types/Click on link under Operations and then see the "Access Control" Tab.

bbshopplf commentedIn D7, I had to create a new dummy content type - the tab appeared for this once it was saved.
-Then- I went back to an existing content type, and poof - there's the tab.
So glad I don't have to re-create all my content types!

Anonymous (not verified) commentedD7 in 2017... For each Content Type, find the tab in 'Manage Fields' as per sckat's fix above, then check the box 'enable per content node access control settings'.
