Let's get the the additional functionality for pathfilter complete.

first three items are:

#148300: [Push #1]: Automatic url conversion to internal links
#127484: [Push #2] pathfilter for files directory
#348390: [Push #3]: Path Filter conflicts with i18n Internationalization

Well, the functionality is in, but I don't think an internal filter made it in to core before the code freeze. So, this is can be closed. Perhaps it can be reopened again when Drupal 8 is being discussed!
