Hi there! I´ve just tried this module out, and it´s terrific!
The only downsize that I can see is that you can have only one Tribune for your whole site, forever.
I would like, for example, Organic Group admins (OG), to be able to create one for each group.
This seems to be like a chat room, but much cooler, because one person can set a topic of discussion, and everyone inside the site (or the group), can write down their opinion.

Could you have a Tribune Node Type?

The 2.x-dev branch does exactly this - but be aware that it may not be ready for primetime - some people have issues converting from 1.x-dev to 2.x-dev but it cna be done and I am using the 2.x-dev branch on a live site.
