I really like the quick tabs system, but theres some limitations that I would like to work around. I am looking for another tabbing system. What kind is this site using? It seems clean and easy.

There's no tabbed content on this site (beside the default tabs produced by drupal core) so I'm not sure what you mean. however, in order to recommend something besides quicktabs, we would have to know 1) why qt doesn't meet your needs and 2) what functionality you are looking for.

The issue with QT is that if I click a link in one of the tabs that isn't the first one, then I hit "back" in my browser to return to the page, it takes me to the first tab. I then have to click the tab I wanted. It is a bit of a nuisance. Other than that, it works great.

Ideally, I want to be able to click back in my browser and have it return me to the tab I was on. I may be best off learning how to maniupulate the Drupal default tabs to get the functionalty I need.

Ah ok-- much better. I've not tried it, but the http://drupal.org/project/magic_tabs module lists this as a feature. Maybe give it try.
