I'm not sure if this is intended or not. After people connect their Facebook account and has created a local drupal account, no welcome email is sent so that the user doesn't know his password.

I may be wrong, but this seems to be by design. Since Facebook is doing the user authentication, the user will always use their Facebook username and password to log in to the site. No drupal password is ever used, so none ever needs to be emailed.

This is a problem with the documentation and with the UI of this module. I'm finding that it takes a lot of customization to have it make sense to the end users, so they aren't trying to enter their Facebook credentials in the drupal login fields and otherwise confusing themselves about the differences between Facebook and the local site.

It probably does make sense to send an email to Facebook Connect users on registration welcoming them and making it clear that they will use the Facebook Connect button and their Facebook credentials any time they log in to the site.

Agree, at least on 1click registration no welcome mail should be sent. The Drupal login is invisible to the user.

I'm not going through facebook, and I have the same problem. After users sign up, no email is sent. How do I configure whether one is sent?
