I would like to get opinions on using http://www.artisteer.com/?p=home to create Drupal themes.
Thanks

I made some. Very easy, decent look. Basic.

They are actively improving Artisteer - I like that.

My programmer says its better to take an existing theme and convert it for more complicated sites.

I like the attraction of efficiency.

I built an entire sight in one of the basic themes that come with drupal. But when I tried using the Artisteer themes they all mess the site up. For example, the welcome block I have appears off screen and doesnt align correctly. Is this because I'm using Panels, because of the type of alignment (for example fixed width) or is there some other problem. You can view my site in the basic theme at www.inspiritednetwork.com/drupal/testpage3

I could really use some help with this. I only have a test version of Artisteer. I didn't want to get the full version until I'm sure it works for what I want to do. I had this really nice theme I created but it doesnt work for my drupal site. Words go outside the panels or the blocks.

I'm also a Newb, but since you all were talking about Artisteer I figured this would be a good place to mention my problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Sincerely,
John
