The main reason I've created this issue is that nobody maintains event_views module. We do need it for various purposes.

Should we wait for the Views 2 integration? Or should we stop using it (because we can't move forward without Views integration) and start using standard CCK features to maintain this functionality (which is not the best solution for us)?

@defconjuan: Thanks for you work on this project, but unfortunately (or fortunately for us) we did everything with Views + CCK + Date. We had to stop using Event module and for now we are happy with that.
