FYI to GreenSkin and other maintainers/contributers. It looks like rszrama, the Ubercart lead developer, will be developing a donation module for Drupal 6. When/If that happens not sure if you would want to support that process or review the module. Etc. Thought that you should be aware if you weren't already. http://groups.drupal.org/node/19893

Yeah, the idea behind it is to create this as a product feature instead of a specific node type and to leave it general, as a variable price feature, instead of tying it down to donations. There are other accommodations discussed in that thread that I'd love to get feedback on.
