Hi
I have quite a lot files at my server directory files/downloads I wan't now have attach all of those files into file nodes. I pointed my directory files/downloads at settings page, and all of them appears at http://mypage.com/dav/ but I don't know how to make nodes of them?

v8powerage commentedOk I managed to connect there, but I can't copy or move any file, because I'm getting errors "file name is too long or contain invalid characters" why it's so?

v8powerage commentedYes I have this module, everything seems to be set up correctly, I see the list of all the files and taxonomies, but I can't upload any file from my computer (thru Connect to server option I'm using Mac OS X).

justin.hopkins commentedDav support for various OS's is shotty at best. I've only had good luck with WinXP and even then it comes and goes. I haven't tried OS X. Different systems have different requirements as far as creating temporary files and specific access methods.
I'm going to inquire at the issue pages for the webdav module...maybe you should join me :)

v8powerage commentedWell whole this dav stuff is really complicated, all I wanted to do is to have simple download system, at the old version of my website I have file download system based on ecommerce and userpoints, you can buy files paying with points, but it's kinda messy, and only I can adding files, I thought this module will be salvation, but for now in this whole dav system even I can't add any file :P
